For the past few months I have been working with Andy Ferguson, Managing Director of Boots Opticians, the UK’s second largest optician chain. Together with executive team Andy had already developed a top-line strategy, but wanted to flesh out the next level of detail. We worked with him to develop a set of medium-term objectives, a “formula for growth” to support their delivery and also defined the major growth initiatives that would deliver the company’s growth ambitions. By clarifying Andy’s expectations up-front we were quickly able to make material progress.
