This week’s focus. The beauty, joy and frustration of business, as with life, is that the future is unwritten. The pace of change in the world makes business more chaotic, turbulent and unpredictable than ever. Today’s success can quickly become tomorrow’s failure, and organisations that were once also-rans can recover to lead the race.

In the face of this uncertainty, it may be tempting to hide, to avoid taking risks and trying new things. But one thing’s for sure – tomorrow’s winners are those that are ready and willing to pursue new opportunities, not simply hold on tightly to current successes. It is the business leaders that have a healthy self-esteem, relentless optimism, a willingness to learn and a fierce determination to succeed that will shape the future business landscape.

The road is long, with many a winding turn

That leads us to

Who knows where, who knows where?
